The role of an Amazon Customer Service Associate is crucial to ensure that Amazon customers receive timely, precise, and professional assistance.

This position requires an individual who is action-oriented, adaptable, and capable of solving problems to assist customers with order processing and post-sales concerns.

Associates interact with customers primarily through chat, phone, and email, and use various software tools to access customer accounts, research and review policies, and offer effective solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

Required Skills and Knowledge

Communication Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to communicate accurately and clearly with all customers

• Excellent documentation skills

• Good comprehension skills – capable of understanding and summarizing customer issues

• Ability to concentrate and focus on customers’ issues to achieve a resolution

• Good composition skills – capable of composing grammatically correct, concise, and accurate written responses

• Ability to work successfully in a team environment as well as independently

Computer Knowledge/Skills:

• Proficient in using desktop computer systems

• Familiarity with Windows XP, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Internet Explorer

• Excellent typing skills

• Demonstrates understanding of the Internet, Amazon.com website, and competitor websites

• Demonstrates the ability to navigate websites effectively

• Proficient in using email applications

• Demonstrates an ability to learn in various media

Qualifications Needed for Amazon Customer Service Job

To be eligible for a customer service position at Amazon, you must have a minimum qualification of 10+2.

Additionally, graduates and post-graduates from any field are also eligible to apply.
