To be considered for this exciting role, you’ll need a strong academic foundation. For Technical Assistant (TA-1) positions, a minimum requirement is a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc. or B.Sc. Hons.) in Physics, Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, Instrumentation, Applied Electronics, Applied Science, Physical Science, Instrumentation Technology, Data Science, or Software Engineering – all with a minimum of 60% marks. Additionally, you’ll need one year of relevant experience from a recognized institute or organization.

Alternatively, you can qualify with a full-time professional qualification in place of work experience. This option offers flexibility for those with a strong academic background and a passion for the field.

The Technical Assistant (TA-2) position requires a different set of qualifications. Here, a Diploma in Computer/IT Engineering or Technology, with a minimum duration of at least three years and a minimum of 60% marks, is essential. Furthermore, you need two years of hands-on experience in the field of Computer/IT Engineering or Technology.

There’s also a provision for lateral entry into the Diploma course. In this case, a minimum two-year full-time Diploma in Computer/IT Engineering or Technology with 60% marks, coupled with two years of experience, will suffice.

Age is Just a Number (Except When It’s Not):

The upper age limit for these positions is 28 years as of January 9th, 2025. However, there are age relaxations for certain categories:

• SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
• OBC Candidates: 3 years
• PwBD (Gen/ EWS) Candidates: 10 years
• PwBD (SC/ ST) Candidates: 15 years
• PwBD (OBC) Candidates: 13 years
