Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: (As on 05.03.2024 @ 05.30 PM)

1. Superintending Engineer:

1. Academic:

1. First-class degree or equivalent grade in Engineering in the relevant field from a recognized University/Institute.
2. Knowledge of computer applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

1. Experience:

1. Minimum 15 years of overall experience in contract management, tendering, planning, works accounts procedures, bylaws of local bodies, and understanding of electrical, AC, telephone, Computer Networking, etc.
2. At least 8 years’ experience in the capacity of Executive Engineer in Central Public Works Department (CPWD), PSU, Govt. Undertakings, or reputed Corporate Houses.

1. Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

1. Master’s Degree in Construction Management / Structural Engineering / Civil Engineering or equivalent.
2. Knowledge of Computer-aided Design (CAD) and the latest Management Technology/other relevant software.
3. Minimum 8 years of work experience in Central / State Govt. or similar organized services / Semi-Govt. / PSU / Govt. Autonomous organizations / Govt. Universities / Govt. Institutes of national importance.

2. Junior Superintendent:

2. Academic:

2. Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
3. Knowledge of computer applications with sufficient typing speed, proficiency in office applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

2. Experience:

2. Overall 3 years of working experience in Central/State Govt. or similar organized services/Semi-Govt./ PSU/Govt. Autonomous organization/Govt. Universities/Govt. Institute of national importance.

2. Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

2. Master’s Degree in Social Sciences or Commerce/after Graduation/MBA in HR or Finance or Systems/MCS/MCA or equivalent.
3. Diploma in Computer application and Secretarial Practices.
4. Shorthand in Hindi/English. Typing speed of 40 w.p.m. on the computer.
5. Relevant experience in administration/Accounts/Secretarial work in any Central/State Govt. or similar organized services/ Semi-Govt./ PSU / Govt. Autonomous organizations/ Govt. Universities/ Govt. Institutes of national importance. Experience related to translation from English to Hindi.

Age Limit: (As on 05.03.2024)

• Superintending Engineer – 57 years
• Junior Superintendent – 35 years Note: Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided as per Government Rules.

Salary Details:

1. Superintending Engineer – Pay Level 13
2. Junior Superintendent – Pay Level 6

Selection Process: IISER Berhampur may follow the subsequent process to select the candidates, including Short Listing, Written Test & Interview.

Application Fee:

• A non-refundable application fee of ₹500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) is applicable for each post applied, payable online.
• Application fee is exempted for candidates belonging to Women/SC/ST/PwBD/Transgender category. Ex-servicemen are exempted for Group B & C positions, and the applicant needs to submit relevant certificates.
