IIT Madras is currently accepting applications for the following positions:
Position: Embedded Software Engineer
Number of Positions:Various
Eligibility Criteria:
- Qualification: B.Tech and BE or equivalent
- Both freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
Required Skills:
- Design and develop embedded firmware for micro-controller-based automotive products
- Proficiency in C/C++, Eclipse IDE, VHDL
- Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink, Model-based design, Embedded coder & Code generation
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as SPI, CAN/CAN-FD, LIN
- Familiarity with NXP S32KX automotive ARM processor or equivalent Microcontroller architectures
- Understanding of the configuration module of AUTOSAR
- Knowledge of Automotive system development standards, including CAN and UDS
- Experience in system design and multitasking real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- Ability to read schematics and data sheets
- Expertise in debugging low-level hardware interfaces (USB, LIN, I2C, UART, PWM, GPIO, ADC/DACs, etc.)
- Testing and debugging of hardware with embedded controllers
- Proficiency in Lab Tools – CC/CV Power Supply, Logic Analyzers, oscilloscope, Board bring-up, Hardware and software testing, JTAG Debuggers and Programmers, Soldering, etc.
Fellowship:
- Embedded Software Engineer – Rs 15,000/- to Rs 40,000/- per month (Salary depending on experience)
