Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Assistant Commandant (Engineer): Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.

Age Limit: (As of 15.12.2023)

• Assistant Commandant (Engineer): Up to 30 years
• The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and for Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India rules. Candidates can refer to the ITBPF official Notification 2023 for more details.

Salary Details:

• Assistant Commandant (Engineer): Pay Scale-Level-10 (56,100-1,77,500) in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC.

Selection Process:

ITBPF will follow this process for candidate selection:

• Phase – I: Verification of Original Documents, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Biometric Identification
• Phase – II: Written Examination
• Phase – III: Interview (Personality Test), Merit List, Detailed Medical Examination
• Phase – IV: Review Medical Examination

• Male candidates of General (UR)/OBC category applying for these posts should pay Rs 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred only) as the application fee through the online payment gateway system on recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in. SC, ST, Females, and Ex-servicemen are exempted from paying the fee.
