Educational Qualification for the Position of High Court Judge
The position of a High Court Judge is one of the most prestigious and respected positions in the Indian Judiciary. Continued Practice
The last requirement to become a High Court Judge is that the person must have practised for a period of not less than Seven years on the date of notification and continue to be a practising Advocate / working Assistant Public Prosecutor till the date of selection and appointment. This means that the person must continue to practice as an Advocate or work as an Assistant Public Prosecutor till the time of selection and appointment as a High Court Judge.
