NCSM Junior Stenographer Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Junior Stenographer: Candidates must have completed Higher Secondary or its equivalent, and possess a minimum speed of 80 words per minute in shorthand, supported by a certificate from a Government-recognized institution. The certificate can be obtained from a Government ITI, Government Diploma College, NCVT, or UGC-recognized University.
- Artist-A: Candidates should have a Diploma/Certificate in Fine/Commercial Art of at least two years duration after SLC (School Leaving Certificate). Additionally, candidates must have one year of experience after obtaining the diploma/certificate for a two-year course duration. For candidates who have completed a one-year course, two years of relevant experience after obtaining the certificate will be required.
Age Limit: (As of 09.06.2023)
- Junior Stenographer: The maximum age limit is 25 years.
- Artist-A: The maximum age limit is 35 years.
The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWDs & 13 years for OBC PWDs), and as per the Government of India rules for Ex-Servicemen. Candidates will receive relaxation in the upper age limit according to Government rules. For more details, refer to the official NCSM Notification 2023.
Salary Details:
- Junior Stenographer: Pay Matrix – ₹25,500-81,100/- (Level 4) & other allowances as per NCSM rules. The approximate total emolument at the start is ₹48,207/- per month in Kolkata.
- Artist-A: Pay Matrix – ₹19,900-63,200/- (Level 2) & other allowances as per NCSM rules. The approximate total emolument at the start is ₹36,126/- per month in Guwahati.
NCSM Junior Stenographer Selection Process 2023:
NCSM will follow the following process to select candidates:
- Aptitude test and/or Skill test/Shorthand test
- Certificate Verification
Application Fee/Exam Fee for NCSM Junior Stenographer:
i) Fee payable: ₹885.00 {Fees: ₹750.00 + 18% GST (₹135/-)} (Rupees eight hundred eighty-five) only for each post. Online payment can be made through the payment gateway integrated with the weblink Given Below
ii) Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disability (PwD), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) who are eligible for reservation are exempted from paying the application fee.
iii) The fee can be paid through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card using the provided weblink.
