NML is seeking qualified candidates for various positions. Check out the details below:

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: (As of 12.01.2024)

• OLP-9001 – Project Assistant – B.Sc. in Chemistry (Hons.) with Physics and Math
• OLP-9002 – Project Associate-I – M.Sc. in Geology
• GAP-0308 – Scientific Administrative Assistant /Field Worker – B. Sc. in Chemistry(Hons.) /Physics(Hons.)
• SSP-1363 – Project-SRF– B. Tech. in Metallurgy/ Mechanical Engg. with GATE Score and two years of Research experience or M. Tech in Metallurgy/ Mechanical Engg. with at least 60% marks.

Age Limit: (As of 12.01.2024)

1. Scientific Administrative Assistant/Field Worker – 50 years
2. Project Assistant/ Field Assistant – 50 years
3. Project Associate-I – 35 years
4. Project Associate-II – 35 years
5. Research Associate-I – 35 years
6. Project SRF – 32 years
7. Project JRF – 28 years

Candidates Relaxation in the Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. For more details, refer to the official NML Notification 2024.

Compensation Information:

1. Scientific Administrative Assistant/Field Worker – Rs. 18,000/- + HRA
2. Project Assistant/Field Assistant – Rs. 20,000/- + HRA
3. Project Associate-I – Rs. 25,000/- / Rs. 31,000/-* + HRA
4. Project Associate-II – Rs. 28,000/- / Rs. 35,000/-* + HRA
5. Research Associate-I – Rs. 47,000/- + HRA
6. Project SRF – Rs. 35,000/- + HRA
7. Project JRF – Rs. 31,000/- + HRA

Selection Process:

NML may use the following process to select candidates:

1. Walk-in-Interview

How to Apply:

Interested and eligible candidates meeting the specified Essential Qualifications should participate in the Walk-in-Interview at the Institute. Bring all original and self-attested copies of certificates/testimonials, a valid identity proof (Voter ID card/PAN Card/Driving License/Passport/Aadhar Card), and one passport-size photograph. Note that candidates must present the original certificates during the Interview; no candidate will be allowed without them.
