Full Details About this PRSC Team 2023 JE & Steno-Typist

1. Educational Qualification for Steno-Typist: To be eligible for the position of Steno-Typist, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution. They should have a shorthand speed of 80 words per minute in English, which should be transcribed at a speed of 15 words per minute. Additionally, they should have a shorthand speed of 50 words per minute in Punjabi, which should be transcribed at a speed of 10 words per minute. Candidates should also have a Matric level certificate in Punjabi language. They should possess at least 120 hours of course and experience in using personal computers or information technology in office productivity or desktop publishing applications. Alternatively, they should have at least 120 hours of working experience in computer applications from a recognized institution, or a certificate of ‘O’ Level from the Department of Electronic Accreditation of Computer Course.
2. Educational Qualification for Lab. Executive (Electrical): To be considered for the position of Lab. Executive (Electrical), candidates should possess a two-year I.T.I. Trade certificate in Electrician from any Govt/ITI or a Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Computer Networking. Candidates must also have passed the Punjabi language examination up to the Matric level and have two years of experience in the electrician trade.
3. Educational Qualification for Junior Engineer: Candidates applying for the position of Junior Engineer should have a Diploma in Civil Engineering/PHE or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Government of Punjab, along with three years of experience in the relevant field. Alternatively, they should possess a Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Government of Punjab, along with one year of experience in the relevant field. Additionally, candidates should have knowledge of Punjabi at the Matric or equivalent standard.
4. Educational Qualification for Driver: To be eligible for the position of Driver, candidates should have passed the Matric examination from a recognized board. They should have at least three years of experience in car/jeep driving and maintenance and possess a valid driving license. Candidates should also possess a valid and appropriate jeep/car driving license from the prescribed Government and should have knowledge of Punjabi up to the Matric level.
5. Educational Qualification for Sweeper: Candidates applying for the position of Sweeper should have passed the Middle examination and have knowledge of Punjabi language up to the Middle standard.
6. Educational Qualification for Cook-cum-Helper: Candidates applying for the position of Cook-cum-Helper should have passed the Middle examination and have knowledge of Punjabi up to the Middle standard. They should also have at least two years of experience in cooking and maintaining a kitchen.

The PRSC has set an upper age limit of 37 years for the following positions as of January 1, 2023: Steno-Typist, Lab. Executive (Electrical), Junior Engineer, Driver, Sweeper, and Cook-cum-Helper. However, this limit is relaxed for certain groups such as SC/ST, OBC, Persons with Disabilities, and Ex-Servicemen in accordance with the government’s rules.

Pay Scale Details For This PRSC Team 2023 JE & Steno-Typist

The salary for each position is as follows: Rs. 21,700/- for Steno-Typist and Driver, Rs. 19,900/- for Lab. Executive (Electrical), and Rs. 35,400/- for Junior Engineer, Sweeper, and Cook-cum-Helper.

Selection Process For This PRSC Team 2023 JE & Steno-Typist

The selection process for PRSC JE & Steno-Typist in 2023 will include a written test and skill test. For candidates applying for any of the above positions, an application/exam fee must be paid.
