Educational Qualification:

  1. Archagar (Ubkovil):
  • Must have passed 10th Standard.
    • Must possess a certificate of one-year training in the relevant field from an agama training center run by religious institutions or any other recognized institution.
  • Assistant Archagar (Muthanmai & Ubkovil):
  • Must have passed 10th Standard.
    • Must possess a certificate of one-year training in the relevant field from an agama training center run by religious institutions or any other recognized institution.
  • Nadaswaram (Muthanmai & Ubkovil):
  • Must be able to read and write in Tamil.
    • Must have completed 3 years of training/certification in Hindu Ritual Education from Hindu Vedha Ashram or a government-recognized course.
  • Thavil (Muthanmai & Ubkovil):
  • Must be able to read and write in Tamil.
    • Must have completed 3 years of training/certification in Hindu Ritual Education from Hindu Vedha Ashram or a government-recognized course.
  • Madapalli / Parisagar (Ubkovil):
  • Must be able to read and write in Tamil.
    • Must know how to prepare Neivedyam and prasadham according to the customs and usage prevailing in the temple.
    • Must know the customary procedures to conduct Pooja and Rituals.
  • Othuvar (Muthanmai & Ubkovil):
  • Must be able to read and write in Tamil.
    • Must have completed 3 years of training/certification in Hindu Ritual Education from Hindu Vedha Ashram or a government-recognized course.
  • Parisagar (Muthanmai & Ubkovil):
  • Must be able to read and write in Tamil.
