Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Engineer (Civil)/Post Code 1600:
- Full-time regular BE/BTech in Civil Engineering or Equivalent degree from an Institute approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Minimum 05 years total experience as a Civil Engineer in Central/State government/Autonomous institutions/State, Central universities/PSUs/Private organizations out of which 03 years in the design and maintenance field.
- Engineer (Electrical)/ Post Code 1601:
- Full-time BE/BTech in Electrical/EEE with a minimum of 60% of marks or its equivalent from an Institute approved by AICTE.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in Central/State government/Autonomous institutions/State, Central universities/PSUs/Private organizations.
- Research Associate (Civil)/ Post Code 1602:
- Full-time regular Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering/Technology/Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering Discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institute approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Minimum 04 years’ experience for Degree holders or Minimum 06 years’ experience for Diploma holders in Central/State government/Autonomous institutions/State, Central universities/PSUs/Private organizations in the relevant area.
- Research Associate (Electrical)/ Post Code 1603:
- Full-time regular Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in EEE/Electrical Engineering/Technology/Diploma or Degree in EEE/Electrical Engineering Discipline from recognized Indian University/Institute approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Minimum 04 years’ experience for Degree holders or Minimum 06 years’ experience for Diploma holders in Central/State government/Autonomous institutions/State, Central universities/PSUs/Private organizations in the relevant area.
Age Limit: (As on 05.02.2024)
- Engineer (Civil)/Post Code 1600 – 35 years
- Engineer (Electrical)/ Post Code 1601 – 35 years
- Research Associate (Civil)/ Post Code 1602 – 28 years
- Research Associate (Electrical)/ Post Code 1603 – 28 years
The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Go through C-DOT official Notification 2024 for more reference.
Salary Details:
- Engineer (Civil)/Post Code 1600 – Pay Level – 10 as per 7th CPC
- Engineer (Electrical)/ Post Code 1601 – Pay Level – 10 as per 7th CPC
- Research Associate (Civil)/ Post Code 1602 – Pay Level – 6 as per 7 CPC
- Research Associate (Electrical)/ Post Code 1603 – Pay Level – 6 as per 7 CPC
Selection Process:
C-DOT may follow the following process to select the candidates.
a) Engineer ( Electrical/Civil) : Written test & Interview b) Research Associate (Electrical/Civil) : Written test & Skill test.
