  • Are you a science whiz with extensive experience? This single, 5-year contract position is perfect for you! We are looking for someone with a strong background in one of the mentioned scientific fields and a minimum of 9-13 years of relevant work experience.
• Curator ‘B’ [Physics/Mechanical/Electronics/Computer Science]: (9 Posts)
  • Do you have a passion for science and a knack for explaining complex concepts to the public? If so, then consider applying for one of these nine Curator ‘B’ positions! You’ll likely be involved in curating exhibits, developing educational programs, and fostering public interest in science.
• Office Assistant Gr. I: (7 Posts)
  • Do you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy providing administrative support? We have seven openings for Office Assistant Gr. I, where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-middels of NCSM.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Curator ‘E’ (Lateral Entry):
  • 1st Class M.Sc. or 1st Class B.E./B.Tech. with 13 years of experience.
  • OR M.Tech./M.E./M.S. (Engg.)/Ph.D. (Science) with 11 years of experience.
  • OR Ph.D. (Engg.) with 9 years of experience.
• Curator ‘B’:
  • 1st Class M.Sc. or 1st Class B.E./B.Tech. with 1 year of experience.
  • OR 1st Class M.Sc./B.E./B.Tech. with a Master’s degree in Science Communication (post-graduation).
  • OR M.Tech./M.E./M.S. (Engg.)/Ph.D. (Science)/Ph.D. (Engg.)
• Office Assistant Gr. I:
  • University Degree

Age Limit and Relaxation:

The age limit for each position is as follows (as on July 5, 2024):

• Curator ‘E’: 45 Years
• Curator ‘B’: 35 Years
• Office Assistant Gr. I: 30 Years

There are age relaxations for certain categories, including SC/ST, OBC, and Persons with Disabilities (PwBD).

Salary Details:

The positions offer competitive salaries depending on the category:

• Curator ‘E’: Rs. 1,23,100 – Rs. 2,15,900/- per month
• Curator ‘B’: Rs. 56,100 – Rs. 1,77,500/- per month
• Office Assistant Gr. I: Rs. 35,400 – Rs. 1,12,400/- per month
