Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Chemistry/Bioinformatics/Computational Biology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Life Sciences/M.Tech Biotechnology from a recognized institution with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
- For SC/ST candidates, a minimum of 55% aggregate marks is required.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Preference will be given to candidates possessing CSIR/UGC JRF NET/GATE qualifications with a minimum of two years’ experience in the project domain, encompassing Bioinformatics and the development of Nanomaterials, within industrial, academic, or scientific organizations.
- The selected candidate is encouraged to enroll in the Ph.D. program as per university regulations.
- For candidates without CSIR/UGC JRF NET/GATE qualifications, the emoluments will be Rs. 25,000/- per month plus HRA (8%) as per DST-SERB norms.
Age Limit:
- Maximum age: 35 years as per DST-SERB norms (as on 21.07.2024)
Remuneration
The selected candidate will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 31,000/- plus HRA (8%).
