Educational Qualification:

A. Category – I Graduate Apprentices:- – A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted through a Statutory University in applicable discipline. – A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted through an Institution empowered to provide such diploma through an Act of Parliament in applicable discipline. – Graduate exam of Professional our bodies known through the State Government or Central Government as equal to above. – Some Universities/Institutes/Examination Boards do now no longer award Class or Percentage of marks and allot Aggregate Grade Points (e.g. CGPA/OGPA/CPI, etc.). In case University/Institute/Examination Board defines standards for conversion of Aggregate Grade Point into Class and/or percent of marks, the equal will be accepted. However, wherein the University/ Institute/ Examination does now no longer outline standards for conversion of Aggregate Grade Point into Class and/or percent of marks, the Aggregate Grade Points will be accelerated through 10 to get the specified percent of marks.

B. Category – II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:- a) Sl. No 1 to 6 – A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted through a State Council or Board of Technical Education installed through a State Government in applicable discipline. – A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted through a University in applicable discipline. – A Diploma in Engineering and Technology granted through an Institution known through the State Government or Central Government as equal to above. b) SI. No 7 – Commercial Practice: A Diploma in Commercial Practice granted through an Institution identified through the State Government or Central Government.
