BOAT SR Chennai Job Openings:

BOAT SR Chennai is currently accepting applications for the following positions:

1. Analyst (Group C)
2. Upper Division Clerk (Group C)
3. Driver (Group C)

Eligibility Criteria for BOAT SR Chennai UDC & Driver Positions:

Educational Qualification (as of 09.10.2023):

1. Analyst (Group C):

• Essential: Second-class Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Technical Education Administration or compiling data on technical personnel in a Government Department or Autonomous Organization.

• Upper Division Clerk (Group C):

• Essential: Degree from a recognized university or equivalent with working knowledge in Hindi.
  • Desirable: Typing skills, 5 years of experience in a Government or Non-Government office.

• Driver (Group C):

• Should have completed middle school.
  • Must possess a valid license for driving light and heavy vehicles.
  • Ex-Servicemen will be given preference.

Age Limit (as of 09.10.2023):

1. Analyst (Group C) – 35 Years
2. Upper Division Clerk (Group C) – 32 Years
3. Driver (Group C) – 35 Years

Note: Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules.

Salary Details:

1. Analyst (Group C) – Rs. 29,200/- Level 5 (as per 7th CPC)
2. Upper Division Clerk (Group C) – Rs. 25,500/- Level 4 (as per 7th CPC)
3. Driver (Group C) – Rs. 19,900/- Level 2 (As per 7th CPC)

Selection Process for BOAT SR Chennai UDC & Driver Positions (2023):

BOAT SR Chennai will follow the following selection process:

1. Written Exam
2. Computer-based Skill Test

All examinations/tests will take place in Chennai City only.

Application Fee/Exam Fee for BOAT SR Chennai UDC & Driver:

The total fee for applying for various positions is Rs. 1,000/-. This includes Rs. 500/- as the application fee and Rs. 500/- as the processing fee. Transaction charges of the bank/payment gateway, if applicable, will be extra and should be borne by the candidate. Candidates belonging to Schedule Caste/Scheduled Tribe are exempt from paying the application fee of Rs. 500/-. However, they are required to pay the processing fee of Rs. 500/-. Payments should be made online via Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/Payment Gateway.

Candidates can apply for the vacant positions online and must submit a printed copy of the completed online application with enclosures through postal services to the following address on or before the last date mentioned in the advertisement:

The Director of Training, Board of Apprenticeship Training (Southern Region), 4th Cross Road, CIT Campus, Taramani, Chennai-600113.

For candidates employed under Government/PSU/Autonomous bodies under central or State/Corporation, they should enclose/upload a “No Objection Certificate” from the current employer while applying online.
