Job Title: Student Success Specialist

Job Description: Embark on a rewarding journey with BYJU’S as a Student Success Specialist. In this pivotal role, you’ll play an integral part in nurturing students’ growth within the BYJU’s App Learning Program. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that students and parents enjoy a seamless and effective educational experience with BYJU’S.

Candidate Responsibilities:

1. Student Guidance: As a Student Success Specialist at BYJU, your core duty is to support and guide students in achieving their academic aspirations. Your role includes the following key responsibilities:
2. Student Engagement: Cultivate positive relationships with students through active communication via various channels, including email, phone calls, and video conferences. Regularly engage with students to gauge their progress, identify challenges, and discern their learning needs.
3. Academic Support: Offer personalized academic assistance to students by addressing their queries, clarifying concepts, and providing guidance on study plans, time management, and effective learning strategies. Tailor your approach to cater to individual student requirements.
4. Goal Setting: Collaborate with students to establish realistic and attainable academic goals. Assist them in crafting roadmaps and action plans to monitor their progress. Regularly review and adapt these goals to align with evolving needs and aspirations.
5. Performance Monitoring: Utilize data and analytics within BYJU’S platform to track students’ performance and progress. Identify areas for improvement and take proactive measures to address gaps or challenges. Offer constructive feedback and celebrate students’ achievements.
6. Motivation and Confidence Building: Inspire and motivate students to maintain their commitment to their studies. Help them overcome obstacles and boost their confidence by acknowledging their accomplishments, providing positive reinforcement, and highlighting their potential.
7. Parent Communication: Collaborate with parents or guardians to keep them informed about their child’s progress, challenges, and areas for improvement. Share regular updates, conduct parent-teacher conferences, and address any concerns or queries they may have.
8. Feedback and Improvement: Gather feedback from students regarding their BYJU experience and suggestions for enhancement. Share these valuable insights with relevant teams within the organization to contribute to product improvements, content development, and overall student satisfaction.
9. Collaborative Approach: Foster a culture of teamwork and knowledge sharing by collaborating with other Student Success Specialists, teachers, and content developers. Share best practices, success stories, and strategies for student engagement and success.

Language Requirements:

• English: Fluent
• Regional Languages: Tamil Hindi, Kannada, Marathi,

Training: A 2-week virtual training will be provided, with a salary of 3.50 CTC LPA based on attendance. Successful completion of training is a prerequisite for the job role.

Work Hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Days Off: Student Success Specialists have two days off on a rotating basis.

Equipment Requirements: A laptop and a reliable Wi-Fi connection are mandatory for this role.

Language Skills: Proficiency in Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Hindi, and English is required.

Onboarding Dates: 20th & 27th Sep 2023.

Eligibility: Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply (Conditions Apply).

7. Sharing best practices, success stories, and student engagement strategies with other Student Success Specialists, teachers, and content developers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree holder.

Age Requirement:

• Minimum age of 18 years with no upper age limit specified by Byju’s.

Salary/Compensation:

• The average salary for a Student Success Specialist at Byju’s is approximately Rs 29,160 per month, equivalent to around 3.5 lakhs per year.

Desired Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficient communication skills in both English and a regional language.

Selection Process:

• The selection process involves shortlisting candidates followed by an assessment test and virtual or face-to-face interviews. Successful candidates will receive a formal job offer via their registered email address.
