Chennai Corporation ANM Vacancy Details:

The Chennai Corporation invites applications for the following positions:

Eligibility Criteria for Chennai Corporation ANM:

Educational Qualifications:

1. Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife (ANM): Candidates should have a Higher Secondary Course and a 2-year Diploma in ANM/GNM from government or government-approved private nursing colleges recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and registered under the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council.
2. District Consultant (Quality): Dental/Ayush/Nursing/Social Science/Life Science graduates with a Master’s in Hospital Administration/Public Health/Health Management/Epidemiology (Full Time or equivalent) and a minimum of 2 years of experience in health administration. Desirable qualifications include training or experience in Quality/NABH/ISO 9001:2008/Six Sigma/Lean/Kaizen and previous work experience in Health Quality.
3. Programme cum Administrative Assistant: Applicants should hold a recognized graduate degree with fluency in MS Office Package and have at least one year of experience in managing office operations and providing support for health programs, especially under the National Rural Health Mission. Knowledge of accountancy and drafting skills is required.
4. Psychologist: Candidates must have a recognized qualification in Clinical Psychology from an institution approved and recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India, or a Postgraduate degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology or Applied Psychology and a Master of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology or Medical and Social Psychology obtained after completing a full-time two-year course with supervised clinical training from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission and approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India.
5. Social Worker: Applicants should possess a postgraduate degree in Social Work and a Master of Philosophy in Psychiatric Social Work obtained after completing a full-time two-year course with supervised clinical training from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission.
6. Hospital Worker (Multipurpose Health Worker): Minimum qualification is 8th pass/fail.
7. Security Staff: Minimum qualification is 8th pass/fail.

Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for all positions is below 45 years. Candidates may be eligible for age relaxation as per government rules, which can be found in the Chennai Corporation official notification for 2023.

Salary Details:

1. Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife (ANM): Rs. 14,000/-
2. District Consultant (Quality): Rs. 40,000/-
3. Programme cum Administrative Assistant: Rs. 12,000/-
4. Psychologist: Rs. 23,000/-
5. Social Worker: Rs. 23,800/-
6. Hospital Worker (Multipurpose Health Worker): Rs. 5,000/-
7. Security Staff: Rs. 6,300/-

The selection process may involve the following stages:
