The Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), a leading player in the Indian electronics sector, is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to fill the position of Executive Officer Accountant (On Contract). About the Role:

The Executive Officer Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting ECIL’s financial operations. This individual will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:

• Account Management: Performing daily accounting activities, such as preparing expenditure vouchers and cheques, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements.
• Taxation and Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to all relevant tax regulations, including calculating, deducting, and depositing Tax Deducted at Source (TDS). Timely filing of TDS returns and other necessary tax documents.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports, and providing valuable insights into the financial health of the organization.
• Systems and Processes: Maintaining and improving existing accounting systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Who We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Educational Qualification: A minimum of a CA (Chartered Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), or MBA (Finance) degree with a minimum of 60% marks in both undergraduate and postgraduate studies (if applicable).
• Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or public sector undertaking (PSU) environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Time Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines consistently.
• Integrity and Confidentiality: A strong commitment to high ethical standards and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Additional Information:

• Age Limit: The maximum age limit for this position is 33 years as of August 12th, 2024. However, relaxation is available for certain categories:
  • SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
  • OBC Candidates: 3 years
  • PwBD (Gen/ EWS) Candidates: 10 years
  • PwBD (SC/ ST) Candidates: 15 years
  • PwBD (OBC) Candidates: 13 years
• Salary Details: The selected candidate will be offered a competitive compensation package with a starting salary of Rs.40,000 per month for the first year. This increases to Rs.45,000 in the second year, Rs.50,000 in the third year, and Rs.55,000 per month for the fourth and fifth years.
• Selection Process: ECIL will follow a two-stage selection process. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a Personal Interview.
