The Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC) has released a job notification for the recruitment of 206 Apprenticeship Training Posts.
The online application process will be open from 16th to 30th September 2023 on the official website of NFC.
The Apprenticeship Training program at NFC is designed to provide hands-on experience and practical knowledge to young individuals.
The training duration is one year, during which apprentices will be exposed to various aspects of their respective trades.

- Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant) [LA(CP)]: 06 positions
- Electrician: 15 positions
- Machinist: 16 positions
- Machinist(Grinder): 08 positions
- Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) [AO(CP)]: 15 positions
- Chemical Plant Operator: 14 positions
- Instrument Mechanic [IM]: 07 positions
- Motor Mechanic: 03 positions
- Stenographer (English): 02 positions
- Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA): 16 positions
- Welder: 16 positions
- Mechanic Diesel: 04 positions
- Carpenter: 06 positions
- Plumber: 04 positions

NFC Apprentice Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
To be eligible for the apprenticeship program, candidates must have successfully completed their ITI (Industrial Training Institute) in the relevant trade.
Age Limit:
Applicants must be at least 18 years old as of the closing date of the application.
Stipend:
The stipend for apprentices varies based on the trade:
- For S. No. 1 to 10 – Rs. 8,050/-
- For S. No. 11 to 16 – Rs. 7,700/-
NFC Apprentice Selection Process 2023:
The selection process for NFC Apprenticeship 2023 includes the following steps:
- The Selection Committees of NFC will review all applications and shortlist candidates based on the indicated vacancies.
- Candidates applying for trades other than Electrician and Welder will be selected based on merit, which considers the percentage of marks obtained in their qualifying examination. In case of a tie, the percentage of marks in the 10th/SSC (Secondary School Certificate) will be used as a tie-breaker.
- Candidates applying for the Electrician and Welder trades will be selected through an interview.
Application Procedure:
- Candidates should apply for the NFC apprenticeship program at the NUCLEAR FUEL COMPLEX, Hyderabad, using the NAPS portal with the Establishment Code: E11153600013. All required documents and certificates should be uploaded on the portal. Refer to Annexure-I for complete details.
- After applying on the mentioned portal, candidates will be selected purely based on merit, and the selected candidates will receive communication through email.
- Candidates applying for the Technician (ITI) Apprentice role must have registered their names on the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and can submit their applications through the portal only.
