Eligibility Criteria for NTPC Limited Assistant Manager (Operation/Maintenance):

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a B.E/B. Tech Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Instrumentation with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution (Passing marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates). Candidates with the prescribed degree identified for the respective disciplines can apply:

Experience Profile: Minimum 7 years of post-qualification working experience in power projects/plants with a capacity of 200 MW or more.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 07 years of post-qualification experience (excluding training period, if any) in the executive cadre in the relevant area in a Government/Public Sector Undertaking, out of which a minimum of 3 years’ experience should be in the post and scale of Rs 50000-160000 or above or an equivalent level/post profile in a reputable private company.

Age Limit: Assistant Manager (Operation/Maintenance): 35 years Candidates will receive relaxation in the upper age limit as per Government rules. Refer to the official notification by NTPC Limited 2023 for more details.

Salary: E3 Grade/ IDA (Rs. 60000-180000)

Application Fee/Exam Fee for NTPC Limited Assistant Manager (Operation/Maintenance):

Candidates belonging to the General/EWS/OBC category are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 300/-. SC/ST/PwBD/XSM category and female candidates are exempted from the registration fee. The payment can be made online or offline.

Payment in offline mode: State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the registration fee in a specially opened account (A/C No. 30987919993) at CAG Branch, New Delhi (Code: 09996), on behalf of NTPC.

Candidates must visit the nearby SBI branch with a printout of the “pay-in-slip” available on the application registration portal. The pay-in-slip printed from the portal should be used for depositing the fee to ensure proper crediting of the amount to the allocated account.

On receipt of the payment, the bank will issue a unique Journal Number and a Branch Code. The candidate should fill in this journal number and branch code during online registration.

NTPC will not be responsible if the fee is deposited in the wrong account.

Payment in online mode: Candidates also have the option to pay the fees online through Net banking/Debit Card (Rupay debit cards only)/Credit Card. The online payment option will be available on the website.

Candidates must make the payment before proceeding with the online application. After successful payment, the Challan number, Bank Reference No., date of payment, etc., must be filled in the online application.
