• Contractual Chemist (2 Posts)
• Contractual Drilling Engineer (2 Posts)

• Contractual Civil Engineer (1 Post)

Eligibility Criteria:

OIL is committed to building a diverse and skilled workforce. To be considered for any of these positions, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

• Contractual Chemist:
  • Master’s Degree in Chemistry (2 years) from a government-recognized university or institute. OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Petroleum, or Mechanical Engineering (4 years) from a government-recognized university or institute.
  • Additionally: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification work experience in preparing, maintaining, and supplying water-based drilling fluids (mud) for well drilling.
• Contractual Drilling Engineer:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering (4 years) from a government-recognized university or institute.
  • Minimum 3 years of post-qualification work experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.
  • Possession of a valid Well Control Certificate (IWCF Level-4/IADCL4) is mandatory.
• Contractual Geologist:
  • Master’s Degree in Geology or Applied Geology (2 years) from a government-recognized university or institute.
  • Minimum 3 years of post-qualification work experience as a Wellsite Geologist.
• Contractual Civil Engineer:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (4 years) from a government-recognized university or institute.
  • Minimum 3 years of post-qualification work experience in executing major building, infrastructure, or road-related projects.

Age Limit (as of August 16, 2024):

• All Positions: 24 to 40 years old.

Relaxation of Upper Age Limit:

• Scheduled Castes (SC)/Scheduled Tribes (ST) Candidates: 5 years
• Other Backward Classes (OBC) Candidates: 3 years
• Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) Candidates (General/Economically Weaker Section – EWS): 10 years
• PwBD (SC/ST) Candidates: 15 years
• PwBD (OBC) Candidates: 13 years

Salary Details:

• Contractual Chemist: Rs.70,000/- per month.
• Contractual Drilling Engineer & Contractual Geologist: Rs.80,000/- per month (each).
• Contractual Civil Engineer: Rs.70,000/- per month.
