POWERGRID Junior Officer Trainee (HR) Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

Essential Qualification:

Candidates must possess a full-time regular undergraduate degree of three years – BBA/ BBM/ BBS or an equivalent qualification from a recognized Institute/University, with a minimum of 60% marks.

Candidates with a postgraduate degree/diploma or higher education qualification equivalent to it are not eligible to apply for the mentioned post.

POWERGRID reserves the right to determine the equivalency of qualifications.

Note:

i. Candidates in their final year/semester of the academic year 2022-23, expecting their results by 14-Aug-2023, may also be considered eligible if they fulfill the minimum percentage marks or equivalent CGPA requirement in the aggregate of all semesters/years up to the pre-final examination, as required for their respective category at the time of applying for the above post. Their candidature will be provisional and will be considered for appointment only if they meet all the specified eligibility criteria.

ii. The percentage of marks in the essential qualification will be considered without rounding off.

iii. For instructions on converting CGPA into a percentage, refer to point 7 of the “GENERAL INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS” section.

Age Limit: (As of 30.05.2023)

1. Junior Officer Trainee (HR) – 27 years

(Candidates should not have been born on or after 30.05.2005 and on or before 30.05.1996)

The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWDs & 13 years for OBC PWDs), and as per the rules of the Government of India for Ex-Servicemen. Candidates will receive relaxation in the upper age limit as per Government rules. Please refer to the POWERGRID official Notification 2023 for more information.

Salary Details:

Stipend during the training period: Rs. 27,500/- per month

Designation & Level upon successful completion of the training period: Junior Officer (HR) Gr-IV at S1 level in the Supervisory category

Basic pay upon regularization: Rs. 25,000/- in the pay scale of Rs. 25,000-3%-117,500/- (IDA)

Upon regularization, the salary package includes Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, Perquisites and Allowances as per the cafeteria approach, Performance-Related Pay, Company Quarters or House Rent Allowance (HRA), Reimbursement of monthly conveyance expenditure, mobile, laptop, Provident Fund, Gratuity, Pension & Leave encashment, Group Insurance, Group Personal Accident Insurance, etc.

The corporation also offers excellent facilities such as short and long-term loans & advances, including House Building Advance, medical facilities for self and dependents, etc., to its regular employees in accordance with the organization’s policies from time to time.

Selection Process for POWERGRID Junior Officer Trainee (HR) 2023:

The selection process for the position of POWERGRID Junior Officer Trainee (HR) in 2023 will include the following stages: Application Scrutiny, Written Test / Computer Based Test for eligible candidates, Document Verification, Computer Skill Test, and Pre-Employment Medical Examination.

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 300/- (wherever applicable). However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM categories are exempted from paying the application fee.
