Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Field Supervisor (Electrical)
- Essential Qualification: Full-time regular 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Technical Board/Institute with at least 55% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS/SC candidates and pass marks for ST/PwBD/ExSM.
- Discipline: Electrical/Electrical (Power)/Electrical and Electronics/Power Systems Engineering/Power Engineering (Electrical)
- Field Experience: One-year post-qualification experience in Construction/testing & commissioning/O&M of electrical works in rural electrification (RE)/distribution management system (DMS)/sub-transmission (ST)/transmission lines (TLs)/substations (S/S), etc. Experience in PSU/Listed companies in the power sector is preferred.
- Field Supervisor (Civil)
- Essential Qualification: Full-time regular 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Technical Board/Institute with at least 55% marks for General/OBC (NCL)/EWS/SC/ST/PwBD/ExSM.
- Discipline: Civil Engineering
- Field Experience: One-year post-qualification experience in Construction/testing & commissioning/civil works in rural electrification (RE)/distribution management system (DMS)/sub-transmission (ST)/transmission lines (TLs)/substations (S/S), etc. Experience in PSU/Listed companies in the power sector is preferred.
Age Limit: (As of 16.10.2023)
- Field Supervisor (Electrical) – 29 years
- Field Supervisor (Civil) – 29 years
Salary Details:
Contract personnel will receive a monthly remuneration in the pay band of ₹23,000-3%-1,05,000/- with an initial basic pay of ₹23,000/- + Industrial DA + HRA + Perks @35% of the basic pay. On successful completion of each year of engagement, contract personnel will be eligible for an annual increment at the rate of 3%.

POWERGRID may employ the following process to select candidates:

Field Supervisor (Electrical/Civil) – Rs.300/- SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM are exempted from payment of the Application Fee. The fee can be paid online.
