CISF Recruitment 2023: Head Constable (General Duty) Against Sports Quota

Discipline-wise Vacancies:

• Head Constable (General Duty)

Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification:

• 12th pass from a recognized educational institution with a credit of representing State/National/International in games, sports, and athletics.
• Educational certificates other than State Board/Central Board should be accompanied by Government of India notifications declaring their equivalence to 12th class pass for Central Government service.

Participation in Sports Events: Individual Event: i) Represented the country in Senior/Junior International tournaments. ii) Represented a State or equivalent unit in National Games/National Championship in Senior/Junior level. iii) Won any medal in All India Inter University Championship. iv) Won Gold Medal in National School Games/Championship.

Team Event: i) Represented the country in Senior/Junior International tournaments. ii) Represented in the State team or equivalent unit in National Games/Championship in Senior/Junior level. iii) Member of a medal-winning team in All India InterUniversity Championship. iv) Won Gold Medal in National School Games/Championship.

Note:

• Candidates without the essential qualification as of the closing date for the Application Form will not be eligible to apply.
• Only those sportsmen/sportswomen who fulfill the eligibility criteria and participated in relevant games/championships from 01/01/2021 to 28/11/2023 are eligible to apply.

Championships/Games considered: a) International tournaments approved by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. b) Senior/Junior level national Championships organized by National Sports Federations. c) Inter-University competition conducted by the Association of Indian Universities. d) National sports/games for schools conducted by the All India School Games Federation.

Age Limit: 18 to 23 years as of 01.08.2023. Relaxation for SC/ST (5 years) and OBC (3 years) as per Govt. of India rules.

Salary Details: Pay Level-4 (Rs.25,500-81,100)

Selection Process:

1. 1st stage: Trial Test, Proficiency Test, Physical Standard Test (PST), and Documentation.
2. 2nd stage: Medical Examination

Application Fee:

• Fee: Rs.100/-
• Exempted for Female candidates, SC, and ST categories.
• Fee payment methods: Online through Net Banking, Credit/Debit/Rupay cards, UPI, or cash in SBI Branches through generated SBI Challan.

How to Apply: Candidates meeting the criteria can apply online on the CISF website from 30.10.2023 to 28.11.2023. No other mode of application will be accepted.
