RITES Invites Applications for the Following Posts

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. General Manager (Civil/ Ports):

1. Post Graduation in Port Planning/ Ocean Engineering/ Marine Structures/ Civil Engineering with Marine structures/ Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering or its related field
2. Minimum Total Experience: Minimum 17 years experience in the field of Port Planning/ Development/ Port Upgradation and modernizing projects/ Breakwaters/ Wharf/ Berthing jetty/ Dredging and reclamation.

2. General Manager (Mechanical/ Ports):

2. Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Technology in Mechanical/ Production/ Production & Industrial/ Manufacturing/ Mechanical/ Railways/ Mechatronics & Automobile or any of the above combination in part or whole or its related field.
3. Minimum Total Experience: Minimum 17 years experience in the field of Port Planning/ project preparation and design and management of Port-based procurement & installation of port equipment for material/ cargo/ container handling and construction. Experience in Quality assurance of port equipment and safety-related aspects will be preferred.

3. Additional General Manager – Marine Structural Engineering:

3. Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or its related field AND Post Graduation in Ocean Structures/ Offshore structures or its related field
4. Minimum Total Experience: Minimum 14 years experience in the field of Port Planning/ design of Breakwaters/ Wharf/ Berthing jetty/ Ro-Ro jetty/ Slipway / Offshore platforms etc.

4. Additional General Manager – IWT sector Expert:

4. Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or its related field OR Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Engineering or its related field
5. Minimum Total Experience: Overall experience of 14 years out of which a minimum of 10 years experience in Ports & Harbour/ IWT Terminal planning/ IWT Infrastructure planning and development of physical activities for operation.

5. Joint General Manager- Material Handling:

5. Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Technology in Mechanical/ Production/ Production & Industrial/ Manufacturing/ Mechanical/ Railways/ Mechatronics & Automobile or any of the above combination in part or whole or its related field.
6. Minimum Total Experience: Minimum 12 years experience in the field of Port-based procurement & installation of port equipment for material/ cargo/ container handling and construction. Experience in Quality assurance of port equipment and safety-related aspects will be preferred.

Age Limit:

1. General Manager (Civil/ Ports) – 55 Years
2. General Manager (Mechanical/ Ports) – 55 Years
3. Additional General Manager – Marine Structural Engineering – 55 Years
4. Additional General Manager – IWT sector Expert – 55 Years
5. Joint General Manager- Material Handling – 55 Years

Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Go through RITES official Notification 2024 for more reference

Salary Details:

1. General Manager (Civil/ Ports) – Rs. 1,00,000 – 2,60,000/-
2. General Manager (Mechanical/ Ports) – Rs. 1,00,000 – 2,60,000/-
3. Additional General Manager – Marine Structural Engineering – Rs. 90,000 – 2,40,000/-
4. Additional General Manager – IWT sector Expert – Rs. 90,000 – 2,40,000/-
5. Joint General Manager- Material Handling – Rs. 80,000 – 2,20,000/-

Selection Process:

RITES may follow the following process to select the candidates.

2. Interview

Application Fee:

Gen/ OBC – Rs. 600/- plus Taxes as applicable ST/SC/Ex-s/PWD – Rs. 300/- plus Taxes as applicable Note: The applicants shall pay the Application Fee as indicated in the Table Above through Online Payment Mode Only.
