The Elastic Support team is actively seeking a dynamic Customer Support Representative to join their expanding and dynamic team.

As a distributed team, location flexibility is a key feature, allowing individuals to work from home or an unaffiliated co-working space. Successful candidates should thrive in a remote environment, exhibiting a strong sense of self-direction.

Responsibilities of the role include addressing customer inquiries related to billing, account management, and other non-technical issues critical to the customer experience.

The role extends to collaboration with customers and internal teams through cases, chat, and web conferencing to identify and resolve issues concerning accounts, billing, platform access, and partner integrations.

The representative will become a Subject Matter Expert on partner account billing details and technical processes, conduct in-depth analysis across various business systems, and escalate issues within internal teams as needed.

Key responsibilities also include educating customers on aspects of their cloud-based accounts, contributing to process improvements to prevent customer issues, and identifying opportunities for enhancing the overall customer experience.

The representative will communicate trends to Team Leads, Management, and Development for continuous improvement and contribute to the knowledge base to empower colleagues in resolving known issues.

Applicants should possess a high level of enthusiasm, a keen sense of pride in their work, and a willingness to embrace change and challenges. Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth global environment is crucial, along with the ability to independently prioritize and manage work efficiently.

A working understanding of technical troubleshooting practices related to cloud-based services or business systems is required, along with creative problem-solving skills and strong English communication skills (both written and verbal).

A minimum of 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience is expected.

Bonus points are given for candidates with experience in cloud services, a track record of success in delivering cross-functional deliverables, familiarity with business-to-business accounts and billing, and a proven ability to manage high-visibility customer escalations to a successful conclusion.
