The National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI) is calling for applications to fill the following positions:

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: (As on 26.01.2024)

1. Junior Secretariat Assistant – 10 + 2 / XII or its equivalent with proficiency in computer typing speed and usage as per the norms set by the DoPT from time to time.

Age Limit: (As on 26.01.2024)

1. Junior Secretariat Assistant (General) – 28 years
2. Junior Secretariat Assistant (Finance & Accounts) – 28 years
3. Junior Secretariat Assistant (Stores & Purchase) – 28 years

The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Refer to the NGRI official Notification 2024 for more details.

Salary Details:

1. Junior Secretariat Assistant – Level – 02 [Rs. 19900- Rs. 63200] of Pay Matrix as per VII CPC [Approximate total emoluments Rs. 36425/- p.m.]

Selection Process:

NGRI may follow the subsequent process to select candidates:

1. Short Listing
2. Written test / Skill test

Application Fee:

A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 100/- (one Hundred) only, wherever applicable, may be deposited through the link available in the online application. A printed copy of the e-receipt must be enclosed with the application. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Permanent CSIR Employees are exempted from the application fee. No other mode of payment is allowed, such as DD, Challan, Postal Orders, etc.
