  • Candidates must be retired Colonels (Retd.) from the Ordnance Corps or Lieutenant Colonels (Retd.) from the EME Corps of the Indian Army.
• Desirable Qualifications:
  • A degree in material management (for Ordnance officers) or an engineering degree (for EME officers) will be highly considered.
• Post Qualification Experience (Mandatory):
  • Candidates must be retired Colonels/Lieutenant Colonels from the Indian Army.
  • Experience in handling spare parts for High Mobility Vehicles (HMVs) and A and C vehicles is essential.
  • For Ordnance officers, commanding an Ordnance Unit (Division ordnance unit, Ordnance Depot) is preferable.
  • For EME officers, having commanded an Armoured Workshop is a plus.
• Desirable Experience:
  • Experience commanding a minimum Sub Depot at Central Ordnance Depot (COD) or Armoured Field Workshop is advantageous.

Marketing Positions:

• Educational Qualification:
  • A degree from a recognized university or its equivalent earned through service in the Indian Army is mandatory.
  • Alternatively, equivalent qualifications for Defence personnel or graduation and completion of procurement, provisioning, and inventory management courses from Defence institutes/colleges are acceptable.
  • Postgraduate degrees/diplomas in technology or management will be an added benefit.
• Military Background (Mandatory):
  • Candidates must be retired Officers from the Indian Army in the rank of Colonel/Lieutenant Colonel or equivalent rank from other services.
• Post Qualification Experience (Mandatory):
  • Minimum of 5 years of cumulative experience in marketing-related activities within the Defence domain during the last 10 years of service in any reputable organization.
  • For candidates from the Defence forces, experience in acquisitions/perspective planning/provisioning/formulating Statements of Quality Requirements (SQRs)/Requests for Information (RFIs)/ Requests for Proposals (RFPs)/Contract Negotiation Committees (CNCs)/post-contract management of equipment is preferred.
• Desirable Experience:
  • Experience/exposure to acquisition, operation, High Mobility Vehicles (HMVs), or specialist vehicles is an added advantage.
  • Officers with experience in Army HQ during the last 5 years of service will be highly regarded.
