  • Additionally, a Diploma in Industrial Safety obtained from an institute under the Directorate General of Factory Advice Service and Labour Institutes (DGFASLI), Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. Alternatively, a full-time Diploma in Industrial Safety with a minimum duration of one year awarded by a recognized university or technical education board is acceptable.
  • While not mandatory, knowledge of the local language is considered preferable.
• Experience:
  • A minimum of two years of post-qualification work experience in thermal power stations is required.
  • Out of the two years, at least one year should be demonstrably spent working as a Safety Officer after obtaining the notified safety qualification.
• Age Limit:
  • The upper age limit for applicants is 32 years as of June 1st, 2024.
  • However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for specific categories:
    • SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
    • OBC Candidates: 3 years
    • PwBD (Gen/ EWS) Candidates: 10 years
    • PwBD (SC/ ST) Candidates: 15 years
    • PwBD (OBC) Candidates: 13 years
    • Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Candidates: Age relaxation as per Government Policy
• Salary Details:
