Job Description:

This role is specifically designed for individuals with a keen understanding of marketing strategies and a focus on attracting financial institutions as clients. As a Deputy Manager (Marketing – Financial Institutions), you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative marketing campaigns that target the specific needs of this critical market segment. Your responsibilities will likely include:

• Market Research and Analysis: Conducting in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the financial services industry, particularly within the realm of financial institutions (FIs).
• Campaign Development and Execution: Creating and executing targeted marketing campaigns across various channels like digital marketing, events, and traditional media to promote SBI’s products and services to FIs.
• Relationship Building: Building strong and lasting relationships with key decision-makers at financial institutions, fostering trust and understanding of SBI’s offerings.
• Budget Management: Developing and managing marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation and campaign ROI (Return on Investment).
• Performance Analysis: Analyzing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, monitoring key metrics, and making data-driven adjustments for continuous improvement.
• Product Knowledge: Staying informed about SBI’s product portfolio, particularly products and services relevant to FIs, to effectively communicate their benefits and value proposition.
• Market Awareness: Maintaining awareness of the global and country-specific economic environment to tailor marketing strategies based on prevailing trends.
• Problem-solving and Business Acumen: Demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and business acumen, identifying potential challenges and opportunities within the market.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: An MBA or PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) or equivalent degree from a recognized university with a specialization in marketing or finance is preferred.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in banking and financial services is essential. Prior experience in financial institutions groups, corporate and institutional banking within a bank would be highly valued.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in marketing principles and practices, including experience with international banking products and FI coverage products.
• Data Analytics Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and create actionable insights.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
• Teamwork and Collaboration: A team player with strong interpersonal skills who can effectively collaborate with colleagues across different departments.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using spreadsheets, presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint), and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint).
• Banking Knowledge: Sound knowledge of banking operations and regulations is advantageous.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: Minimum age of 27 years and maximum age of 40 years as of April 1, 2024. Age relaxation is available for SC/ST, OBC, and PwBD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates as per government regulations.

Salary and Benefits:

SBI offers a competitive salary package for this position, ranging from Rs. 64,820 to Rs. 93,960 per month. In addition to the base salary, SBI provides a comprehensive benefits package that may include medical insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.

Selection Process:

The selection process for this role will involve two stages:
