The ITBP is currently looking to fill 143 positions across three crucial trades:

• Constable/Tradesman (Barber) (5 Posts): Keep the ITBP force well-groomed and professional.

Do You Have What It Takes?

To be considered for these exciting roles, you’ll need to meet the following eligibility criteria:

Education:

• Barber:
  • Matriculation (10th Class) pass from a recognized school or institution.
  • Proficiency in barbering techniques, demonstrated through a departmental practical test.
• Safai Karamchari:
  • Matriculation (10th Class) pass from a recognized school or institution.
  • Willingness and ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Gardener:
  • Three options for educational qualifications:
    • 10th Class pass with two years of experience in gardening from a recognized institution/establishment.
    • One-year certificate from a recognized Industrial Training Institute (ITI) or Vocational Institute in the field of gardening, with at least one year of additional experience.
    • Two-year Diploma in gardening from a recognized Industrial Training Institute (ITI).

Age:

• Barber & Safai Karamchari: 18 to 25 years old (as on August 26th, 2024).
• Gardener: 18 to 23 years old (as on August 26th, 2024).

Age Relaxation:

• Relaxation in the upper age limit is available for certain categories:
  • Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates: 5 years.
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates: 3 years.
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India policy.

Salary and Benefits:

All selected candidates will be placed in Level-3 of the pay scale, with a salary range of Rs. 21,700 – Rs. 69,100/- per month. This competitive salary is accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare, allowances, and opportunities for career advancement.

Selection Process:

The ITBP recruitment process is designed to identify the most qualified and suitable candidates. It involves two phases:

Phase I:
