Training is primarily facilitated by the Registrar and Aadhaar Enrolment Agency, supplemented by regional offices (ROs) of the UIDAI. The overarching aim is to equip enrolment staff with comprehensive knowledge of enrolment procedures and to familiarize them with the tools and technologies essential for effective enrolment operations.

Regional offices conduct various training programs tailored to the specific needs of enrolment staff. These programs encompass classroom training, master trainer sessions (Training of Trainers/TOT), and orientation/refresher programs for enrolment agency staff. Moreover, mega training camps are organized to cultivate a large pool of skilled enrolment personnel.

The objectives of these training initiatives are multifaceted. They encompass imparting skills related to establishing and managing enrolment centers, proficiently utilizing enrolment devices, acquainting participants with the Aadhaar Enrolment Client, and equipping them to handle exceptional cases adeptly. Mega Training and Certification Programs

Mega training and certification programs are designed to address the demand for a substantial number of trained enrolment supervisors, operators, and operator CELCs. Leveraging the expertise of master trainers from regional offices, these programs utilize training content available on the UIDAI website. Following the training sessions, a certification process, managed by a designated testing and certification agency engaged by UIDAI, validates the competence of participants.

In essence, effective training delivery mechanisms serve as the linchpin for ensuring the proficiency and competence of enrolment staff within the Aadhaar ecosystem. Important Note:

1. New Test Structure and Question Bank for taking exam of Aadhaar Supervisor/Operator and Child Enrolment Lite Client Operator (CELC) will be applicable from 10-1-2022. All the certification exams conducted by Testing and Certification Agency (M/s NSEIT Ltd) shall be as per the new pattern. All the candidates who scheduled their Certification Exam on or after 10-1-2022 are requested to download the new Test Structure, Question Bank(s) and related Leaner Guide(s) from the table given below for self study and preparing for the Certification Exam.

2. For verification purpose, candidates are advised to download latest copy of their e-Aadhaar  from the website link myaadhaar.uidai.gov.inand carry the black & white/color print out of the same at NSEIT Ltd exam centre on date of exam.

3. As per UIDAI’s Testing and Certification Policy, “The candidates must schedule their test within 6 months of depositing the fee, failing which, their fee shall be forfeited and they shall not be allowed to appear for the test against that fee.”

4. Candidates certified in Child Enrolment Lite Client will be able to work only on CELC application software and perform Child Enrolment. They will not be able to do any other type of enrolment using ECMP client. However, candidates certified as Operator/Supervisor will be able to work on both ECMP and CELC Client software. The minimum qualification for Operator/Supervisor or CELC Operator Certification is 12th pass. Only, in case of Aaganwadi/Asha workers the minimum qualification for CELC operator certification is 10th pass.

Certification is a mandatory requirement to perform Aadhaar enrolment and Update. Since UIDAI does not employ any certified candidate directly, all the Certified Candidates have to approach active Aadhaar Enrolment Agency to start Enrolment/Update work.
