Amazon is looking for an individual with high judgment to join us as an Investigator to evaluate transactions and protect our global customer base, profitability, and brand. of Amazon while maintaining a high customer base.
We are specifically looking for candidates who are fluent in English to support our global operations teams; however, you will also be supporting UK business. Would suit a recent graduate.
Main job responsibilities
Take appropriate steps to identify and help reduce the risk posed by fraud patterns and trends. Communicate via email and phone with buyers, sellers and other external and internal customers.
Maintain the quality of the Amazon website by following Amazon policy guidelines.
Take appropriate actions based on established procedures and document these actions.
When procedures are not available, follow established escalation routes to ensure resolution.
Participate in other special projects/tasks and collaborate with appropriate business teams as required. Meet weekly productivity and quality standards for surveys.
Experienced in the internet space and able to succeed in a fast-paced team environment.
Be prepared to be flexible with working hours and work Saturdays and/or Sundays.
Basic qualifications
Excellent written and spoken English skills and an ability to compose grammatically correct, concise and accurate written responses
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues correctly and clearly to both internal and external customers
Demonstrated ability to work independently and make complex investigation decisions with little to no guidance
Exceptionally strong customer handling and conflict resolution skills with a keen focus on quality and customer experience.
Demonstrated ability to analyze problems logically
Self-disciplined, diligent, proactive and detail oriented
Effective prioritization of work time to ensure productivity, fulfill department standards for time spent and individually prioritize multiple tasks of competing urgency
Demonstrated ability to exceed expectations with regard to performance and individual contribution
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to recognize non-obvious patterns
Preferred qualifications
Passionate commitment to Amazon’s emergence as the world’s most customer-centric company
Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and data security standards
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Additional Information:
Shifts: Rotational (it is a 24*7 shift environment and shifts are rotational – changes every 3-4 months’)
Weekly Off: Rotational two- consecutive day off (it is a 5-day working week with 2 consecutive days off. The off days changes every 3-4 months)
