Eligibility Criteria for Anna University Project Associate Positions:

Educational Qualification:

Project Scientist (WGIS-PS)

Essential Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geomatics/ CSE or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year experience in the development of Web-based GIS systems is desirable.

Project Associate – II (WGIS-P2)

Essential Educational Qualification: M.E./ M.Tech. in Remote Sensing & Geomatics/ Geomatics or equivalent with B.E./B.Tech. in Geoinformatics/ Civil Engg/CSE/ IT or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 Year working experience and knowledge in GIS Web Portal design is desirable.

Project Associate – I (WGIS-P1)

Essential Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in CSE/ IT/ Geoinformatics.
- Experience: 1 year working experience in GIS and knowledge of Web Programming is desirable.

Project Associate – I (WGIS-C1)

Essential Educational Qualification: M.C.A./ M.Sc. in Computer Science, M.Sc. in Geoinformatics, or B.E. in Geoinformatics.
- Experience: 1 year working experience in GIS is desirable.

Project Associate-I (BGIS-PA1)

Essential Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in Geoinformatics/ Civil Engg or M.Sc. in Computer Science/ Geography/ Geology or Equivalent.
- Experience: At least 6 months of experience in Land-use Mapping or GPS-based data collection is desirable.

Technical Assistant (BGIS-TA)

Essential Educational Qualification: H.S.C. or Equivalent/ Diploma in Engineering.
- Experience: At least 6 months of experience in GPS-based data collection and GPS-based systems is desirable.

Research Associate (RCG-RA)

Essential Educational Qualification: Ph.D. or having 3 years of research, training, and design & development experience after M.E./M.Tech. in Geodesy/ Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing & Geomatics or equivalent.
- Experience: At least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.

Junior Research Fellow (RCG-JRF)

Essential Educational Qualification: M.E./M.Tech. in Geodesy/ Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing & Geomatics or equivalent with B.E./B.Tech Geoinformatics/Civil Engg. Selected through CSIR-UGC, GATE, and national level examinations conducted by GOI agencies/institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
- Experience: Candidates, if selected, must secure Ph.D. admission in Anna University within 6 months. The proposed research topic shall be in Geodesy.

RCG-SE

Essential Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in Geoinformatics/ Civil Engg or Equivalent or Diploma in Civil/ECE/EEE/CSE or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 1 Year experience for B.E degree holders / At least 3 years of experience in Maintenance of Geodesy equipment for Diploma Holders is desirable.

Salary Details:

Project Scientist (WGIS-PS) – Rs. 70,000/-
Project Associate – II (WGIS-P2) – Rs. 37,000/-
Project Associate – I (WGIS-P1) – Rs. 25,000/-
Project Associate – I (WGIS-C1) – Rs. 20,000/-
Project Associate-I (BGIS-PA1) – Rs. 25,000/-
Technical Assistant (BGIS-TA) – Rs. 15,000/-
Research Associate (RCG-RA) – Rs. 49,000 + HRA
Junior Research Fellow (RCG-JRF) –

(i) Rs. 31,000 + HRA for the first two years
- (ii) Rs. 35,000 + HRA for the third year for those (i) who have qualified CSIR-UGC NET or GATE or qualified through National Examination of Government Departments/Agencies.
- (iii) Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under the above category.

RCG-SE – Rs. 25,000/- + HRA

Anna University Project Associate Selection Process 2023:

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test/interview after scrutinizing the applications.
The actual date and time of the interview will be intimated by e-mail or by telephone to the shortlisted candidates.
