Full Details About this BDL Recruitment 2023 Project Engineers

The following educational qualifications are required for the various positions at BDL:

1. Project Engineers (Mechanical): Candidates must have obtained First Class (60%) in BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc Engg (4 years) / Integrated M.E. / M.Tech. course or an equivalent qualification in the relevant discipline from an AICTE approved Institute / University.
2. Project Engineers (Electronics): Applicants should have secured First Class (60%) in BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc Engg (4 years) / Integrated M.E. / M.Tech. course or an equivalent qualification in the relevant discipline from an AICTE approved Institute / University.
3. Project Engineers (Computer Science): Candidates must have obtained First Class (60%) in BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc Engg (4 years) / Integrated M.E. / M.Tech. course or an equivalent qualification in the relevant discipline from an AICTE approved Institute / University.
4. Project Engineers (Aeronautical): Candidates must have secured First Class (60%) in MBA/ MSW or PG Diploma – 02 Years Course or equivalent course in Human Resources Management from an AICTE approved Institute / University.
5. Project Officer (Human Resources): Applicants should have obtained First Class (60%) in MBA/ MSW or PG Diploma – 02 Years Course or equivalent course in Human Resources Management from an AICTE approved Institute / University.
6. Project Diploma Assistant (Mechanical): Candidates must have completed a 3-year diploma or an equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engg. discipline recognized by the State/ Central government.
7. Project Diploma Assistant (Electronics): Applicants should have completed a 3-year diploma or an equivalent qualification in Electronics & Communication / Electronics Engg. discipline recognized by the State/ Central government.
8. Project Trade Assistant (Fitter): Candidates must have completed ITI (Fitter) with NAC or an equivalent qualification recognized by the State/ Central Government.
9. Project Trade Assistant (Electronic Mech.): Applicants should have completed ITI (Electronic Mech. / Radio Mech.) with NAC or an equivalent qualification recognized by the State/ Central Government.

In addition to the educational qualifications, candidates applying for the positions of Project Engineers, Project Officers, Project Diploma Assistants, and Project Trade Assistants must have at least one year of post-qualification experience in the relevant industry or office. The experience must be after the essential qualification(s) in the relevant industry or office, and academic/teaching experience will not be considered as industrial experience. One year completed apprenticeship training will also be considered as experience for Project Engineers / Project Diploma Assistants. The number of years of service will be based on the experience certificate, last pay slip, offer of appointment, provident fund statement, ESI membership, salary account bank statement, etc. Candidates with experience/apprenticeship in relevant Defence Labs/Industries (associated with relevant weapon system development) will be given preference.

The BDL company is hiring for various positions such as Project Engineers, Project Officers, Project Diploma Assistants, and Project Trade Assistants. The Educational Qualifications required for these positions vary according to the concerned discipline. The candidates applying for the position of Project Engineers in Mechanical, Electronics, or Computer Science should have a First Class (60%) in BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc Engg (4 years)/ Integrated M.E./ M.Tech. course or equivalent in the relevant discipline from AICTE approved University or Institute. The candidates applying for the position of Project Officer in Human Resources should have a First Class (60%) in MBA/ MSW or PG Diploma – 02 Years Course or equivalent course in Human Resources Management from AICTE approved Institute/ University. For the positions of Project Diploma Assistant in Mechanical or Electronics, the candidates should have a 3 years Diploma or equivalent course in the relevant discipline recognized by the State/ Central Government. For the positions of Project Trade Assistant in Fitter or Electronic Mech., the candidates should have ITI (Fitter) with NAC or ITI (Electronic Mech./ Radio Mech.) with NAC or equivalent recognized by the State/ Central Government.

The candidates should possess a minimum of 01 (One) year Post Qualification experience in the relevant industry/ office. The experience should be after essential qualifications in the relevant industry or office. One year of completed apprenticeship training will also be considered as experience for Project Engineers/ Project Diploma Assistants. The academic/ teaching experience will not be considered as industrial experience. The maximum age limit for unreserved/ EWS categories is 28 years as on the date of walk-in-interview. However, there is age relaxation for SC – 05 Years/ ST – 05 Years/ OBC (NCL) – 03 Years for Project Diploma Assistants/ Project Trade Assistants. Further, age relaxation for EX-SM/ PwBD will be as per Government directives to the post(s), as applicable.

Pay Scale Details For This BDL Recruitment 2023 Project Engineers

The salary details for the different positions are as follows: Project Engineers/ Officers – 1st Year Rs. 30,000/- 2nd Year Rs. 33,000/- 3rd Year Rs. 36,000/- 4th Year Rs. 39,000/-, Project Assistants (Diploma) – 1st Year Rs. 25,000/- 2nd Year Rs. 26,500/- 3rd Year Rs. 28,000/- 4th Year Rs. 29,500/-, and Project Assistants (Trade) – 1st Year Rs. 23,000/- 2nd Year Rs. 24,500/- 3rd Year Rs. 26,000/- 4th Year Rs. 27,500/-.

Selection Process For This BDL Recruitment 2023 Project Engineers

The selection process for the BDL Project Engineer position will be through walk-in-interview. Interested and eligible candidates should appear for the walk-in-interview in the Institute with all original and self-attested copies of all certificate/ testimonials and valid identity proof (Voter ID card/ PAN Card/ Driving License/ Passport/ Aadhar Card) and one passport size photograph. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the Interview without the Original Certificates.
