BEL Project Engineer & Trainee Engineer Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
| 1. Project Engineer-I -Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (4-year course) Engineering degree in relevant discipline from recognized University / Institution / College with 55% and above for General/EWS/OBC candidates & Pass Class for SC/ST/PwBD Candidates.Minimum Post Qualification Experience as on 01.04.2023: Minimum 02 years of relevant industrial post qualification experience. |
| 2. Trainee Engineer-I -Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (4-year Course) / Engineering degree in relevant discipline from recognized University/ Institution/ College with 55% and above for General / EWS / OBC candidates & Pass Class for SC/ST/PwBD Candidates.Minimum Post Qualification Experience as on 01.04.2023: Nil |

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. TERMS Of Engagement & Allowance:
| 1. Project Engineer-I – Project Engineers will be engaged for an initial period of 03 years which may be extended further for a period of 01 year (maximum tenure of 04 years) based on project requirement and individual performance. Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 40,000/- per month for the 1st year, Rs. 45,000/- per month for 2nd year, Rs. 50,000/- per month for 3rd year and in the event of extension of contract, the remuneration shall be Rs. 55,000/- per month for 4th year. |
| 2. Trainee Engineer-I – Trainee Engineers will be engaged for an initial period of 02 years and may be extended further for a period of 01 year (maximum tenure of 03 years) based on project requirement and individual performance. Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 30,000/- per month for the 1st year, Rs. 35,000/- per month for 2nd year and in the event of extension of contract, the remuneration shall be Rs.40,000/- per month for 3rd year. In addition to the remuneration indicated above, a consolidated amount of Rs. 12,000/- per year will be paid towards expenses like medical insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc. |
BEL Project Engineer & Trainee Engineer Selection Process 2023:
BEL may follow the following process to select the candidates.
| a) Candidates should meet the eligibility criteria as specified in the advertisement. Candidates who meet the eligible criteria will be called for Written Test for 85 marks and those who clear the same will be shortlisted for Interview for 15 marks. The place of written test and interview will be in Bengaluru only.b) Candidates will be shortlisted for the interviews based on the written test marks (out of 85 marks) in order of merit in the ratio of 1:5.c) Intimation on conducting written test and interview will be sent to E-mail ID provided by the candidate. Candidates are required to comply with the instructions indicated therein. The results of the final selection will be available on BEL website. BEL is not responsible for bounce back or non-receipt of mail by the candidate. |

| Trainee Engineer – I – Rs.150/- + 18% GST |
| Candidates belonging to SC, ST & PwBD categories are exempted from payment of application fee. |
