- Technician/B: Candidates must have passed SSC and have a Second Class Boiler Attendant’s Certificate.

- To qualify as a Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (Dental Technician – Hygienist), candidates must have passed HSC (Science) and scored a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. They should also have a 2-year Diploma recognized by Dental Council of India.
- To become a Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (Dental Technician – Mechanic), candidates need to have passed HSC (Science) and scored a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. They should also have a 2-year Diploma recognized by Dental Council of India.

Category I – Stipendiary Trainee 19 24 Candidate should have been born between 23/05/1999 and 22/05/2004.
Category II – Stipendiary Trainee 18 22 Candidate should have been born between 23/05/2001 and 22/05/2005.
The upper age limit is relaxed for SC/ST by 5 years, for OBC by 3 years, and for Persons with Disabilities by 10 years (15 years for SC/ST PWDs and 13 years for OBC PWDs), as per the Government of India rules. BARC Technical Officer, Scientific Assistant, Technician, and Stipendiary Trainee Salary Details:
- Technical Officer/C: Rs.56,100/-
- Scientific Assistant/B: Rs.35,400/-
- Technician/B: Rs.21,700/-
- Category I Stipendiary Trainee- 1st year: Rs.24,000/-, 2nd Year: Rs.26,000/-
- Category II Stipendiary Trainee – 1st year: Rs.20,000/-, 2nd Year: Rs.22,000/-
BARC Technical Officer & Stipendiary Trainee Selection Process 2023:
The selection process for BARC Technical Officer & Stipendiary Trainee will comprise three stages:
- Stage 1 – Preliminary Test
- Stage 2 – Advanced Test
- Stage 3 – Skill Test.
Application Fee/Exam Fee for BARC Technical Officer & Stipendiary Trainee:
The application fee for Direct Recruitment is as follows:
- Technical Officer/C: Rs.500/-
- Scientific Assistant/B: Rs.150/-
- Technician/B: Rs.100/-
- Category-I: Rs.150/-
- Category-II: Rs.100/-
However, the following categories are exempted from paying the application fee: SC/ST, PwBD, Ex-servicemen, and Women.
