Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Trainee Engineer-I – Electronics:

1. Qualification: 4 years’ B.Sc (Engg.)/ B.E./ B. Tech Engineering from an AICTE recognized Institute/ University in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Telecommunication/ Communication/ Electrical & Electronics.
2. Minimum Post Qualification Experience as of 01.01.2024: 0 – 01 Years

2. Trainee Engineer-I – Comp. Science:

2. Qualification: 4 years’ full-time B.E./ B. Tech Engineering from an AICTE recognized Institute/ University in Computer Science/ Computer Science Engineering/ Computer Science & Engineering.
3. Minimum Post Qualification Experience as of 01.01.2024: 0 – 01 Years

3. Project Engineer-I – Electronics:

3. Qualification: 4 years’ B.Sc (Engg.)/ B.E./ B. Tech Engineering from an AICTE recognized Institute/ University in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Telecommunication/ Communication/ Electrical & Electronics.
4. Minimum Post Qualification Experience as of 01.01.2024: 02 (Two) Years or More

4. Project Engineer-I – Comp. Science:

4. Qualification: 4 years’ B.E./ B. Tech Engineering course from an AICTE recognized Institute/ University in Computer Science/ Computer Science Engineering/ Computer Science & Engineering.
5. Minimum Post Qualification Experience as of 01.01.2024: 02 (Two) Years or More

Age Limit: (As of 01.01.2024)

1. Trainee Engineer-I – Electronics: 28 Years
2. Trainee Engineer-I – Comp. Science: 28 Years
3. Project Engineer-I – Electronics: 32 Years
4. Project Engineer-I – Comp. Science: 32 Years

The upper age limit mentioned above is for General and EWS candidates. Age relaxation is applicable for SC & ST candidates by 05 years and for OBC candidates by 03 years. PwBD Category candidates with minimum 40% disability or more will receive 10 years’ age relaxation. Proof of Date of Birth includes SSLC/ SSC/ ISC Marks Card or any other valid document.

Salary Details:

1. Trainee Engineer-I:

1. Engagement Period: Initial 2 years, extendable up to 3 years based on project requirements and performance.
2. Remuneration: Rs. 30,000/- per month for the 1st year, Rs. 35,000/- for the 2nd year, and Rs. 40,000/- for the 3rd year (if contract extended).

2. Project Engineer-I:

2. Engagement Period: Initial 3 years, extendable up to 4 years based on project requirements and performance.
3. Remuneration: Rs. 40,000/- per month for the 1st year, Rs. 45,000/- for the 2nd year, Rs. 50,000/- for the 3rd year, and Rs. 55,000/- for the 4th year (if contract extended).
4. Direct Induction: Candidates with three years of tenure as a Trainee Engineer in BEL, selected for the post of Project Engineer, will be directly inducted as Project Engineer-II with remuneration of Rs. 45,000/- for the 1st year, Rs. 50,000/- for the 2nd year, and Rs. 55,000/- for the 3rd year. Overall tenure limited to 3 years.
5. Additional Allowance: In addition to the remuneration, a consolidated amount of Rs. 12,000/- per year will be provided for expenses like insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowances, etc.

Selection Process:

The selection process for these positions may involve a Written Test followed by an Interview. Both the Written Test and Interview will be conducted in Kotdwara.

• Project Engineer-I: Rs. 472/-
• Trainee Engineer-I: Rs. 177/-

• PwBD, SC, and ST category candidates are exempted from the application fee.
• Application fee should be paid through SBI Collect (online).
