BHEL Announces Job Openings for Engineers and Supervisors

Available Positions:

1. Engineer & Supervisor (FTA-Civil): 3 positions
2. Supervisor (FTA-Civil): 3 positions Total: 6 positions

Eligibility Criteria for BHEL Engineers and Supervisors:

Educational Qualifications:

1. Engineer & Supervisor (FTA-Civil):

• Qualification: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering/Technology or a 5-Year Integrated Master’s Degree or Dual Degree Program in Civil Engineering/Technology from a recognized Indian University/Institute.
  • Minimum Qualification Score: 60% for General/OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST candidates.Experience Requirement: A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in executing civil and/or structural works in infrastructure and industries such as power plants, steel, cement, refineries, petrochemical, or other large-scale industrial/infrastructure projects (excluding residential buildings, real estate, townships, and municipal works). Quality-related experience will not be considered.Skills: Strong project execution abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, effective time and resource management, decision-making proficiency, and proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
  • Note: Prior experience in the power sector is preferred.

• Supervisor (FTA-Civil):

• Qualification: Full-time Diploma in Civil Engineering/Technology from a recognized Indian University/Institute.
  • Minimum Qualification Score: 60% for General/OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST candidates.Experience Requirement: A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in executing civil and/or structural works in infrastructure and industries such as power plants, steel, cement, refineries, petrochemical, or other large-scale industrial/infrastructure projects (excluding residential buildings, real estate, townships, and municipal works). Quality-related experience will not be considered.Skills: Strong people management and project execution abilities, a focus on time and resource management, and proficiency in computer applications.
  • Note: Prior experience in the power sector is preferred.

Age Limit (As of 01.09.2023):

1. Engineer & Supervisor (FTA-Civil): 34 years
2. Supervisor (FTA-Civil): 34 years

Age Relaxation:

• 5 years for SC/ST
• 3 years for OBC
• 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWDs and 13 years for OBC PWDs)
• As per Government of India rules

Salary Details:

1. Engineer & Supervisor (FTA-Civil): Rs. 82,620/-
2. Supervisor (FTA-Civil): Rs. 46,130/-
