Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Management Executive (ME) – SCMD:
- Essential: Engineering Graduate with MBA (Finance/ Marketing/HR/ General)
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years post-MBA experience in a relevant field in Central Government/ State Government/ Union Territory Government/ Statutory/ Autonomous Body/ Public Sector Undertaking/ reputed Government agency/ Private Sector Organization with countrywide operations.
- Management Executive (ME) – IR&TISD:
- Essential: Engineering Graduate with MBA (Regular)
- Desirable: MBA in International Relations/International Business
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years post-MBA experience in a relevant field in Central Government/ State Government/ Union Territory Government/ Statutory/ Autonomous Body/ Public Sector Undertaking/ reputed Government agency/ Private Sector Organization with countrywide operations.
Age Limit: (As on 16.12.2023)
- Management Executive (ME) – SCMD: 45 years
- Management Executive (ME) – IR&TISD: 45 years
- Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Refer to the BIS official Notification 2024 for more details.

Similar to the SCMD role, a minimum of five years of post-MBA experience in relevant sectors is a prerequisite.
The age limit for both positions is set at 45 years as of December 16, 2023, with relaxation provided according to government rules. Successful candidates will be rewarded with a fixed salary of Rs. 1.5 Lakh.
