Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Young Professional – II:
- Essential Qualification: Candidates must possess M.F.Sc in Fish Genetics & Breeding, Fish Health, Aquaculture, or Fish Nutrition (including Biochemistry); M.Tech (Biotechnology), or any professional Degree in Molecular Biology or Biotechnology with a 5-year Integrated Degree, or Masters in Zoology, Marine Science, or a related field with 2 years of work experience in shrimp aquaculture, including hatchery or disease diagnostics through university or institute projects.
- Desirable: Working knowledge and experience in molecular biology, disease diagnostics, screening of OIE listed shrimp pathogens, and molecular techniques. Technical skills in artificial insemination and induced maturation of penaeid shrimps.
- Young Professional – I:
- Essential Qualification: B.F.Sc/B.Sc. (Zoology)/B.Sc. (Microbiology)/B.Tech (Biotech)/B.Sc. (Biotechnology)/B.Sc. (Marine Science) with 3 years’ experience or M. F.Sc./ M.Sc. in a related discipline (Aquaculture/Marine Biology/Zoology/Microbiology/Biotech).
- Desirable: Working knowledge of shrimp seed production, algal live feed culture, nursery, and grow-out rearing of shrimps, shrimp hatchery management, and shrimp breeding.
- Field Assistant:
- Essential Qualification: Diploma (Fisheries Science and Related subjects) / B.F.Sc/ B.Sc. (Zoology) / B.Sc. (Microbiology) / B.Tech. (Biotech) / B.Sc. (Biotechnology / Bioinformatics) / B.Sc. (Marine Science) or equivalent qualification in a related discipline.
- Desirable: Working knowledge of shrimp seed production, water quality analysis, algal live feed culture, nursery and grow-out rearing of shrimps, shrimp hatchery management, biological data analysis, and bioinformatics.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women as of the interview date, with relaxations for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules.
Emoluments:
- Young Professional – II: Rs.42,000/- per month (Consolidated)
- Young Professional – I: Rs.30,000/- per month (Consolidated)
- Field Assistant: Rs.18,600/- per month (Consolidated)
Selection Process: CIBA Chennai will follow a two-step process for selection: shortlisting and interview. Only shortlisted candidates will receive communication for the online interview.
