CMSRU is inviting applications for the following posts:

1. Assistant Engineer (Weapons)
2. Assistant Administrative Officer
3. Accountant
4. Total – Variois

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Assistant Engineer (Weapons):

• Three-year diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education or equivalent qualifications for Ex-servicemen.
• Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience in Indian Navy/Ship Building/Ship Repair/Engineering Company, specifically in the areas of installation, maintenance, repairs, trials, and commissioning of weapons-related machinery, communication, sensors, and combat management systems on naval vessels. Out of which, two years should be in a supervisory grade.

2. Assistant Administrative Officer:

• Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or a three-year diploma in Commercial Practice/Computer Engineering/Information Technology with at least 60% marks from a State Board of Technical Education.
• Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience in office work, ERP system updating, man-hour booking, data entry, record and report generation, file maintenance in a Shipyard/Engineering Company, with two years in a supervisory grade. Must be proficient in computers.

3. Accountant:

• Either a graduate with M.Com and seven years of post-qualification experience in finance/accounting in a Government Establishment/Public or Private Sector Undertaking, OR a graduate with a pass in CA/CMA Intermediate examination and five years of post-qualification experience in finance/accounting. Out of this experience, two years should be in a supervisory grade. Experience in a computerized environment is preferred.

Age Limit:

The upper age limit is 45 years as of March 5, 2024.

Selection Process:

The selection process includes: (i) Phase I – Written Examination (Objective Type Test) (ii) Phase II – Powerpoint presentation on candidates’ work experience

Application Fee:

• Application fee of Rs. 400/- (non-refundable, plus bank charges extra) should be paid online via debit card/credit card/internet banking/UPI during the application period.
• SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted from the application fee.
