Description About the Job

The ideal candidate for the position of Team Manager/Service Delivery Manager should possess a graduate or post-graduate degree, preferably with an MBA.

Their primary responsibilities include ensuring compliance with controls established by the business to enable successful audits by clients and external parties, managing and resolving customer escalations and issues, and adhering to quality norms and procedures.

They should interact with customers, both internal and external, to keep stakeholders informed about process performance, create status reports, and provide client/process related MI reports.

The Team Manager/Service Delivery Manager should identify and drive opportunities for cost optimization, process excellence, and enhancing service delivery to improve customer experience.

In terms of projects and processes, they should support knowledge transfer during process transition from the business site, drive the team to achieve service level agreements and metrics, ensure compliance controls are met, and innovate ideas to reduce manual interventions and error-proof the process.

They should also conduct process training or refresher training, maintain operations rigor around daily huddles, visual management, knowledge management, cross-training, etc., and engage with other departments to implement best practices.

The Team Manager/Service Delivery Manager should conduct regular 1:1s to gauge the pulse of the team members, guide and mentor team members, allocate/manage work and tasks to the team, conduct team-building activities to enhance motivation, and facilitate knowledge sharing and capture within and across teams.

They should complete mandatory training as identified in the training plan for the project, conduct performance appraisals for team members, and provide input into the learning and career plans for team members.

They should report to the manager on performance, status, and any escalations, manage attrition and absenteeism, and support recruitment efforts for the team.

The candidate must possess excellent communication skills in English and be proficient in MS Excel and MS Office.

This is a full-time employee position with a day job, and no travel is required.
