Educational Qualification:
- Project Associate-I:
- Essential Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates with specialization or masters in Heat transfer/Thermal Engineering/Renewable Engineering/Fluid Mechanics/Industrial Engineering/Machine Design and Solid Mechanics.
- Project Associate-I:
- Essential Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Desirable Experience: Candidates should focus on mechanical systems such as equipment design, development, fabrication, procurement, material handling, installation & commissioning, site supervision, data collection & analysis, monitoring & inspection, and optimization, along with extensive fieldwork within salt-related activities. Proficiency in operating solar thermal energy-based instruments/devices and implementing integrated systems to enhance salt yield in brine ponds is required.
- Project Associate-I:
- Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Chemistry.
- Desirable Experience/Qualification: Candidates should have experience in laboratory experiments and chemical analysis.
Age Limit: (As on 30.04.2024)
- Project Associate-I: Maximum age limit of 35 years.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.
Salary Details:
- Rs. 31000/- + HRA for scholars selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET or GATE OR (b) National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions.
- Rs. 25000/- + HRA for others.
