As a Paid Plans Support Specialist at Tide, you will join one of our paid plans teams, focusing on delivering top-notch customer service primarily through phone support for our paid account members. Your role involves managing, maintaining, and nurturing relationships with the goal of generating revenue for Tide and adding value for our SMEs by providing award-winning customer support.
We are seeking proactive individuals unafraid of tackling new challenges. Placing the customer at the center of your actions is essential for our success. You’ll thrive in this role if you are willing to take ownership, possess high energy and reliability, and uphold strong ethics and morale as an integral part of our team.
As a Customer Service Associate for Paid Plans, your responsibilities include:
- Engaging with customers daily through phone calls.
- Providing exceptional support through chat and email as needed, based on capacity and call volume.
- Following established procedures and guidelines, while also contributing to the creation of new processes or enhancements to existing ones.
- Delivering a 5-star customer experience based on predefined metrics, including Customer Satisfaction, Volume Contribution, and Quality Assurance.
- Addressing challenging banking issues such as unfamiliar transactions, missing payments, and direct debits.
- Mentoring new team members and assisting with common back-office tasks.
- Monitoring usage patterns and identifying opportunities based on customer feedback, segmentation, personas, and user research, as well as staying informed about industry developments.
- Participating in tailored training and courses to enhance your skillset and knowledge, facilitating your career growth at Tide.
- Working shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on a schedule accommodating your preferences and business needs.
You’ll excel in this role if you have:
- Confidence in communicating with customers over the phone and prior experience addressing member inquiries, even challenging ones.
- A minimum of 1.5 years of relevant experience as a phone customer support associate.
- Proficiency in verbal and written English at the C1 level or higher.
- Familiarity with industry tools such as Kustomer, GSuite, Microsoft Office, and Jira.
- A positive and energetic demeanor, coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication with both customers and internal teams.
- Demonstrated ability to be self-driven, multitask, collaborate well with a team, and maintain high ethical standards.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in FinTech, startups, or fast-growing tech companies.
- Prior work with subscription and/or app-based business models.
- Familiarity with membership programs.
- Analytics knowledge for understanding member plan usage and optimization.
