Chennai Central University (CUTN) is seeking applications for the following position:
Position: Guest Faculty (Horticulture) Number of Positions: 01
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- A Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point-scale, if applicable) in Horticulture or a related field from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
- Successful clearance of the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by ICAR, UGC, CSIR, or an equivalent test accredited by UGC.
Desirable: Candidates with a Ph.D. degree in Horticulture or a related field are preferred. Additionally, guest faculty qualifications must be in line with the minimum criteria for Assistant Professors in Universities as per UGC Regulations, 2018.
Age Limit: 70 Years
Remuneration: Selected candidates will receive an honorarium of Rs. 1,500/- per lecture, with a maximum monthly cap of Rs. 50,000/-
Selection Process:
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
