The Data Capture team plays a crucial role within Syndigo. The Data Capture Associate I position is an entry-level role within this team, responsible for meeting a range of production goals to fulfill client deliverable needs.

This role is based in Gurgaon, India, and involves a collaborative approach to achieving the team’s objectives. Team members are responsible for reviewing product images, identifying key information for data capture, and ensuring that the entered data matches product packaging while adhering to formatting standards. This process requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties of a Data Capture Associate I include reviewing product images to extract necessary data and selecting the appropriate attributes for each product. The team member must ensure that the information entered is accurate and meets Syndigo’s data quality standards, achieving at least a 95% accuracy rate. This role also involves proofreading work to ensure that product records are free from errors, especially focusing on achieving 100% accuracy for nutrition and ingredient information.

Each team member is expected to meet daily production goals, with fluency in the role indicated by processing 45 or more products per day. Team members must complete assigned tasks promptly and assist the team in meeting a 99% on-time goal for delivering client data. Additionally, the role requires flexibility as team members regularly switch between different tasks and services. Fluency in at least one core service area within the first 12 months of employment is essential, including areas like intake coding, profiling, custom coding, and multi-language coding.

Other responsibilities include auditing product data for consistency, maintaining a minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute in English, and staying familiar with various product types and brands to ensure accurate data processing.
