To be eligible for the Probationary Officer (PO) position at ECGC Limited, candidates must meet certain educational qualifications as of April 1, 2023. The specific requirements for each specialization are as follows:
Accounts: Candidates must be an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (CA), Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India (ICWA), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Legal: Candidates must have a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree from a recognized Indian university or institution.
Company Secretary: Candidates must be CS qualified with ACS membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
Actuary: Candidates must be a student member of the Institute of Actuaries of India who has cleared at least 3 papers including CM1, CS1 and CS2 or its previous equivalents.
IT: Candidates must have a B Tech or BE in Computer Science / Information Technology or MCA with a certificate course on Cyber Security of at least 6 months duration.
IT/CISO: Candidates must have a B Tech or BE in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation and ME / MTech / MS in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Security / Cyber Security. Preference would be given to those who have core specialization in Cyber Security at PG level or certifications of CISSP/CISM/CompTIA CySA+/GSEC/OSCP.
Country Underwriting/research: Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Statistics / Mathematical Statistics / Mathematical Economics / Econometrics / Statistics & Informatics from a recognized university.
Rajbhasha / Hindi: Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Hindi / Hindi Translation with English as core/elective/major subject at the Bachelor’s Degree level with minimum 55% for SC/ST and 60% for others from a recognized university. Alternatively, candidates can have a Master’s degree in English with Hindi as core/elective/major subject at the Bachelor’s degree level with the same minimum percentage requirement. Candidates may also have a Master’s degree in any discipline with English and Hindi as core/elective/major subjects at the Bachelor’s degree level with the same minimum percentage requirement. Lastly, candidates can have a Master’s degree in both English and Hindi / Hindi translation with the same minimum percentage requirement.
Data Science: Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Data Science.
It is important to note that all educational qualifications must be from a University/Institution/Board recognized by the Government of India/approved by Government Regulatory Bodies, and the final result should have been declared on or before April 1, 2023. Candidates must submit proper documentation from the Board/University to prove that the result was declared before the given date during the interview process.
Age Limit for ECGC Limited Probationary Officer (PO) Recruitment 2023:
As of April 1, 2023, candidates for Probationary Officer (PO) must be at least 21 years old but not exceed 30 years old. However, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWDs & 13 years for OBC PWDs), and as per Govt. of India rules for Ex-Servicemen. Salary Details:
The selected Probationary Officer (PO) will be offered a salary of Rs.53600-2645(14)-90630-2865(4)-1,02,090/-
Selection Process for ECGC Limited Probationary Officer (PO) Recruitment 2023:
ECGC Limited will follow the selection process outlined below:

The online examination will be held at six centers: Bangalore, Chennai, Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai, and New Delhi.
