- The candidate must possess the requisite qualification as listed above on the cut-off date.
- For Sl. No. 3 to 17, the candidate must be ITI passed from the respective trade. For Sl. No. 1 & 2, the candidate must have passed the 10th grade.
- Candidates who have passed ITI in 2019 or earlier must provide an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper sworn-in before a Magistrate or Notary Public stating that they have neither undergone apprenticeship training nor taken employment anywhere.
- Candidates with higher professional qualifications such as Diploma / B.E. or equivalent will not be considered. Additionally, candidates with higher academic qualifications like B.A./B.Sc./B.Com, etc., will not receive any additional weightage.
- The candidate’s age should be between 18 to 25 years on the cut-off date. SC/ST candidates will have a relaxation of 5 years, while OBC candidates will have a relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit. All government guidelines regarding age relaxation will be followed.
Candidates’ relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided as per Government Rules. Refer to the HCL official Notification 2023 for more details.

How to Apply for HCL Apprentice Post:
STEP 1 – Apprenticeship Registration
Candidates should register themselves for apprenticeship on the Government of India portal Candidates should select “Establishment Search” under the establishment menu on the above site and select Hindustan Copper Limited, Malanjkhand Copper Project for training with HCL. This registration is mandatory. The unique number generated on this website must be entered in the appropriate column in Step 2 (Online submission of the application at Hindustan Copper Limited website). Failure to do so will result in the application not being considered finally submitted. All candidates must register on the above portal, regardless of whether they are applying based on the 10th grade or ITI.
STEP 2 – Online Submission of Application
The candidates must submit their application online through the company’s website No other means/mode of application will be accepted. The “One Applicant – One Application” system will be followed, which means that only one application will be accepted from one candidate corresponding to one login-ID. The candidates must ensure that they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria and other conditions mentioned in the advertisement for the trade they are applying for. It is advised that candidates apply for only one trade that best matches their qualification in relation to the advertised eligibility criteria. Multiple applications received in contravention of the “One Applicant – One Application” condition will not be accepted. In such cases, only the first submitted application will be considered.
