Available Positions:
HCSL is currently recruiting for a total of six Project Assistant positions across different specializations:
- Project Assistant (Office) – 4 Posts
- Project Assistant (Mechanical) – 1 Post
- Project Assistant (Electronics) – 1 Post
Eligibility Criteria:
Before applying, it’s important to ensure you meet the eligibility requirements for the specific position you’re interested in. Here’s a breakdown of the qualifications needed:
Educational Qualification:
- Project Assistant (Office): A minimum of a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree (excluding Fine Arts or Performing Arts) in Arts, Science, Computer Applications, or Business Administration with at least 60% marks from a recognized university.
- Project Assistant (Mechanical): A three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks from a State Board of Technical Education.
- Project Assistant (Electronics): A three-year Diploma in Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks from a State Board of Technical Education.
Desirable Skills:
While not mandatory, proficiency in computer applications like AutoCAD, SAP, MS Project, and MS Office will be advantageous for all positions.
Experience:
All positions require a minimum of two years’ experience in any of the following:
- Shipyard
- Engineering Company
- Commercial Organization
- Government/Semi-Government Company/Establishment
For the Project Assistant (Electronics) position, applicants can also qualify with three years of post-qualification training in any of the aforementioned organizations, in addition to the minimum experience requirement.
Age Limit:
- Applicants for all positions must be 30 years old or younger as of August 31st, 2024 (born on or after September 1st, 1994).
- There are age relaxations for certain categories:
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates can have an additional 3 years for reserved positions.
- Age relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen will be as per Government of India guidelines, with a maximum age limit of 45 years after all relaxations are applied.
Salary Details:
The salary structure for Project Assistants is as follows:
- First Year: Rs. 24,400/- per month
- Second Year: Rs. 25,100/- per month
- Third Year: Rs. 25,900/- per month
Selection Process:
Shortlisted candidates will undergo a two-step selection process:
- Objective Type Test: This test will assess your knowledge and aptitude relevant to the position.
- Descriptive Type Test: You will be evaluated on your written communication skills and ability to analyze information.
